CAPITAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME (CAS) PROGRAMME, 2014-2016

CALL FOR PROPOSALS FROM APPROVED HOUSING BODIES

Approved Housing Bodies are now requested to submit proposals for new CAS construction and/or acquisition proposals covering specific categories of housing need e.g. homeless persons, older people and people with a disability.

A Project Brief should be submitted to the Housing Department, John's Green, Kilkenny no later than Friday 14th March, 2014.

The Project Brief should consider all options for delivering on housing need, identify the preferred option, provide an initial all in cost based on recent comparable tenders, where feasible, procurement strategy and timescale for implementation.

Priority consideration will be given as follows:-

- the extent to which the proposals address the housing need in the area;
- demonstration of Value for Money
- Timescale
- projects of up to 10 units;
