Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Centre

Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Centre is an essential service provider and remains open for customers as this time. However, in in the interests of staff and public safety and in order to properly implement HSE / Government Guidelines regarding large gatherings, social distancing and unnecessary contact, Kilkenny County Council respectfully requests customers to only use the Centre for the necessary disposal of waste for the foreseeable future. Customers can continue to bring black bags; food waste; and recycling waste that they lack the space to store. Customers should avoid bringing the unwanted contents of their sheds, attics and gardens at this time. Customers are kindly asked to observe this request in order to minimise the movement of people to and at the Centre. Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Centre Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm; Saturdays 8am to 12 noon; closed Sundays and Bank Holidays. For Queries contact: (056) 779 4470.

The Council’s Covid-19 Response Team continues to meet on a daily basis and decisions will be informed by advice from the HSE and Public Health Authorities.

We seek the public’s co-operation to stop the spread of COVID-19 and to take the necessary precautions during this difficult time.

Further updates and advice will issue throughout the coming days via local and national media and on the Council’s website, Facebook and twitter.
