Extension to Temporary Road Closure - R704 between Ballynooney East & Three Friars X until Wednesday 12th April

Temporary Road Closure on R704 between Ballynooney East and Three Friars Cross will remain in place until Wed 12th April

In order to complete emergency bridge works, the R704 Regional Road between Ballynooney East and Three Friars Crossroads at Ballymartin will remain closed until Wednesday 12th April 2023. 

  • The closure will be in place on a 24 hour basis during these works. 
  • Local diversions will be in place.
  • Vehicles travelling between New Ross and Mullinavat will be required to use the R723 from New Ross to Glenmore, N25 to Grannagh and M9 to Mullinavat.

Kilkenny County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.
