TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of Kilkenny County Council to close to traffic the following public road to facilitate works being undertaken by Wills Bros Limited, as part of the N24 Tower Road Junction Improvement Scheme, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny. 

Road to be Closed	Alternative Routes	Proposed Duration of Closure
N24, from its junction with LP1038 at the Ink Bottle, Belline, Piltown to its junction with R698 at Fiddown, Piltown	Eastbound traffic will exit the N24 at Belline (Ink Bottle junction) and travel via LP1038, R698 and re-join the N24 at Fiddown   Westbound traffic will exit the N24 at Fiddown and travel via R698, LP1038 and re-join the N24 at Belline (Ink Bottle junction)	From: 9pm Friday, 23rd June, 2023 To:    5am Monday, 26th June, 2023  And  From: 9pm Friday, 30th June, 2023 To:  5am Monday, 3rd July, 2023

 

Alternative routes will be clearly signposted.

Any person objecting to the proposed temporary closure of this road may lodge their objection in writing to the undersigned not later than 5.00pm on Friday, 26th May, 2023.
