Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that an emergency road closure will be in place on the LP3408 at Smartscastle, Kilmacow, commencing Thursday 3rd July.  This closure is necessary to facilitate rehabilitation works and will be in place for a period of two weeks approximately.

Diversions will be in place via LP3405 Dunkitt and LS7464 Bishopshall – HGVs to divert via LP3408 and R448 Newrath.  Diversions will be clearly signed; local access will be facilitated.

Kilkenny County Council apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
