Kilkenny County Council Arts Office is delighted to announce the awarding of Arts Act Grant supports to Kilkenny groups and organisations and to individual artists in all art forms, to promote the arts and enable them to pursue their practice, to develop within their chosen discipline and deliver projects.

The 2003 Arts Act permits a local authority to provide financial assistance for the purposes of stimulating public interest in the arts, promoting the knowledge, appreciation and practices of the arts or improving standards in the arts. In this Act, the expression "the arts" means creative or interpretative expression (traditional or contemporary) in whatever form and includes in particular visual arts, theatre, literature, music, film, dance and multi-disciplinary events.

St. Patricks Brass & Reed Junior Band, Music in Kilkenny, KCAT Arts Centre, Devious Theatre Company, Thomastown Visual Arts Festival, AKA Fringe, Kilkenny Photographic Society, St. Mary's Art & Craft Collective, Daithi Holohan, Young & Adolescent Art, Orlaith Treacy, St. Patricks Kilkenny, What's on Tom? Productions, Historical Harp Society of Ireland, The Kilkenny Choir, Carrie Lynam, Eamon Coleman, Bear Foot Productions, Kilmanagh Ballycallan Killaloe Community Enterprise Group, Collaborative Group Ita Morrissey, Hannah McCormick & Eadaoin Walsh, David Thompson.
