Welcome to the first Kilkenny County Council Climate Action Digital Newsletter. On this platform we will update you on key information that will inform you on climate action activities, funding and inspiring ideas that are happening throughout County Kilkenny.Kilkenny’s climate is changing and this poses significant challenges and risks to all those living and working in the county. Quality of life, economic prosperity, the environment and critical infrastructure are all subject to the impacts of climate change. The Kilkenny County Council Climate Action Plan is a road-map for how Kilkenny County Council will respond to the challenges, meet our climate obligations and deepen our commitment to climate action.

These bi-annual newsletters will be part of an overall communicational strategy that will be used to keep our staff and you the wider public informed on our progress in implementing our agreed actions.
