Provision of proposed access road at Brandondale, Graiguenamanagh,County Kilkenny, from the public road at Brandondale to the lands known as the Pitch & Putt site, Graiguenamanagh, Co.Kilkenny-Kilkenny County Council Compulsory Purchase Order No.1 of 2013.

Notice of the Confirmation by KILKENNY COUNTY COUNCIL of a COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER made in accordance with Section 76 of and the Third Schedule to the Housing Act, 1966, as extended by Section 10 of the Local Government (No. 2) Act, 1960 and amended and extended by the Planning and Development Acts, 2000-2013 including Section 213 of the Planning and Development Act 2000;

Local Government Acts, 1925-2009 including Local Government (No.2) Act 1960; Roads Acts, 1993-2007 and all other Acts.

Published in accordance with Section 78(1) of the Housing Act,1966, as amended by the Planning and Development Acts, 2000 to 2013.

Kilkenny County Council has on the 14^th day of January 2014 made a confirmation order confirming the above named compulsory purchase order as respects the land described in the Schedule hereto. The said order, as so confirmed, authorises the COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF KILKENNY to acquire the said land compulsorily. It will become operative three weeks from the date of publication of this notice. A copy of the order as so confirmed and of the map referred to in it may be seen at all reasonable hours at the following locations:

• Kilkenny County Council Customer Services Desk, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny (9a.m. -1p.m. and 2p.m. - 5p.m.) Monday to Friday.
  
• Kilkenny County Council, Thomastown Area Office, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny (9a.m. – 1p.m. and 2p.m. – 5p.m.) Monday to Friday.
  
• Graiguenamanagh Library, (Library opening hours –Tuesday (10.am -1.pm and 2p.m. – 8p.m.). Wednesday & Friday (10.am -1.pm and 2p.m. – 5p.m.) Saturday 10.am-1.30 pm except on a Bank Holiday weekend when the library is closed on that Saturday.

An application for judicial review of the decision of the local authorities under Order 84 of the Rules of the Superior Courts (S.I. No.15 of 1986) may be made to the High Court within eight weeks of the date of publication of this notice in accordance with Section 50 of the Planning and Development Act,2000 as extended by the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act,2002.
