Community Climate Action Programme (Grant)

Kilkenny County Council is delighted to welcome the announcement by the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, Eamon Ryan TD, of a new Community Climate Action Programme. The overall objective of the Community Climate Action Programme is to support and empower communities to take climate action and to shape and build low carbon, sustainable communities. 

It is open to all Kilkenny communities small and large, rural and urban and community groups can apply for up to €100,000 grant funding with 100% funding for successful projects.

Applications for the Programme will be accepted from Wednesday, 6th December 2023, until Wednesday, 28th February 2024
