The Christmas opening/closing arrangements are as follows:

• Remain open through lunchtime on Monday, 23rd December 2024, and will close to the public at 2:00 p.m.
• The offices of Kilkenny County Council will be closed from Tuesday, 24th December 2024, to Wednesday, 1st January 2025 inclusive. This includes the Motor Tax/Receipts/Traffic Office and the Planning Department.
• The offices will re-open, and business will resume in full on Thursday, 2nd January 2025.

Please Note:

• The online Motor Tax services are available throughout the holiday period on www.motortax.ie.
• For emergencies, our out-of-hours emergency number is 0818 399 399.
• The Good Shepherd Centre may be contacted on 056 772 2566 for out-of-hours Homeless services.
• As normal, our Fire and Emergency Services are on call 24/7, 365 days a year.
