Cathaoirleach of Kilkenny County Council, Eamon Aylward, visited Piltown on Wednesday 6th February to officially 'turn the sod' and formally commence the construction of 17 houses at an estate to be known as Breagagh Place, which is being funded under the Rebuilding Ireland Programme. The Design Team is comprised of CJ Falconers Architects, Nolan Construction Consultants, Douglas Carroll Consulting Engineers (Mechanical and Electrical) and David Kelly Partnership (Civil and Structural). Contractor is John Somers Construction Ltd.
