€500 Community Prize Competition
Team Up to Clean Up – Together for Kilkenny Organised by Kilkenny County Council
- Eligibility
- The competition is open to community groups, schools, workplaces, and sports clubs located within County Kilkenny.
- Participants must register for the Team Up to Clean Up campaign via cleanup.kilkenny.ie prior to the event date.
- Clean-up activities must be conducted within designated areas, specifically speed zones of 60km/h or less, for safety compliance.
- Entry Requirements
- Registered groups must actively participate in the clean-up campaign on the designated dates.
- Groups must use the clean-up kits provided by Kilkenny County Council and adhere to all safety guidelines.
- Participants are required to submit a brief summary of their clean-up activity, including:
- Number of volunteers involved
- Area cleaned
- Volume or type of litter collected
- Any photos or creative documentation (optional but encouraged)
- Judging Criteria
The winning group will be selected based on:
- Impact: Effectiveness and scale of the clean-up effort
- Community Engagement: Level of involvement and collaboration
- Creativity: Use of visuals, storytelling, or innovative approaches
- Compliance: Adherence to safety and environmental guidelines
- Prize Details
- One winning group will receive a €500 prize, awarded by Kilkenny County Council.
- The prize must be used to support further community or environmental initiatives.
- The winner will be announced publicly via Kilkenny County Council’s official channels.
- General Conditions
- Kilkenny County Council reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms.
- By entering, participants consent to the use of submitted materials (including photographs) for promotional purposes.
- The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
