Kilkenny Senior Camogie Team to Be Officially Welcomed Home

A Civic Reception for the Homecoming of the Kilkenny Senior Camogie Team will take place on Monday next, 9th September, at Kilkenny Courthouse, Parliament Street, Kilkenny.

Kilkenny County Council invites you to attend the Homecoming where you can enjoy music and entertainment from 5.30 p.m. and welcome home our Senior Camogie players.

At approximately 6.30 pm the panel will travel by open top bus from MacDonagh Train Station through John's Street, over John's Bridge, up Rose Inn Street and along High Street to the Courthouse.

The team will be introduced onto the balcony of the Courthouse at approximately 7.00pm.

Entertainment will include live music and replay of the match on a large screen. Proceedings will close before 8.00 p.m.

Kilkenny County Council, the Kilkenny Camogie Board and An Garda Síochána encourage those attending to arrive early and to follow any directions from the Stewards.

Peter 'Chap' Cleere sends the following good wishes: ''All of Kilkenny wishes our Senior Camogie Panel and Management Team the very best of luck in the All-Ireland Final on Sunday. They have given us huge enjoyment and excitement throughout 2019. We are very proud of their achievements so far this year and we will be delighted to welcome them home next Monday evening.''
