St.Patricks Festival Kilkenny

Stpatricksfestivalkilkenny.com is the place to be this St. Patrick's Day, and it just so happens you all have a front-row seat! So, put on your green and join the celebrations from your comfiest chair this March 16th/17th!
We are delighted to be able to celebrate St. Patrick's Day virtually this year and we encourage Kilkenny people from Ballyragget to Bangkok to join us online for a feast of activity this Lá le Pádraig.
St. Patrick's Festival Kilkenny has something for everyone! Get Involved in our pre-Patrick's Day events as we ask Kilkenny people of all ages and corners of the community to join in this year's celebration.
With activities like the 'Big Green Kilkenny Knit', 'Plastic Free 4 Kids' and the 'Parade of Irish Wisdom' there is plenty to keep families busy while the 'Kilkenny People Picture Parade' and 'Destination Greening' help those who are no longer local connect in their hometown celebrations.
There are plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved by entering our '#Kilkennyingreen Picture Parade', getting your family and friends to contribute, and entering your pooch in our 'Virtual Dog Show'. We want to see you! Use the #kilkennyingreen hashtag and share what events you're taking part in, as we create a community of shared experience while abiding by government guidelines and staying safe. Our social media pages will be our common thread so make sure to give us a like/follow and get involved!

This all leads up to the main event, The St. Patrick's Day programme!! Join us on March 16th as we kick-off 'virtually' right here with a special Irish Traditional Music Concert from our wonderfully talented Irish musicians from across Ireland and beyond. Then, on St. Patrick's Day, make a plan to celebrate with us as we bring you our virtual St. Patrick's Day programme with green talks, musical performances, workshops for kids and much more...
As the crew from Cartoon Saloon bask in the glow of multiple award nominations for the Wolfwalkers animated movie, they are taking time out from the red carpet to play their part in Kilkenny's celebration of our national holiday.
