Notice of proposed variation to the
Kilkenny City & Environs Development Plan (2002)

Variation No. 10 - The accommodation of the recommendations of the proposed Loughmacask Local Area Plan

Kilkenny Borough Council being the Planning Authority for Kilkenny City and Kilkenny County Council being the Planning Authority for the Environs of Kilkenny City jointly propose to vary the Kilkenny City & Environs Development Plan 2002 for the purposes of accommodating the recommendations of the proposed Loughmacask Local Area Plan.

A copy of the proposed variation is available for public inspection from Wednesday 27th February 2008 to Wednesday 26th March 2008 (both dates inclusive but excluding weekends and public holidays) at the following locations:-

- Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council Offices, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny
- Planning Department, Kilkenny Borough Council
- County Library, Johns Quay, Kilkenny

A copy of the proposed variation may be viewed on Kilkenny County Council's website and on the Kilkenny Borough Council's website at

Written submissions or observations should be marked "Submissions in relation to Variation No.10 to Kilkenny City & Environs Development Plan" and forwarded to the Senior Planner, Kilkenny County Council, John Street, Kilkenny.

Please note that the latest date for submissions is Wednesday the 26th March 2008 and that submissions made after that date cannot be considered.
