AN GARDA SIOCHÁNA, THE HEALTH SERVICE EXECUTIVE SOUTH EAST AND KILKENNY COUNTY COUNCIL.

Public Notice Under European Communities (Control of Major Accidents Involving Dangerous Substances) Regulations 2015

An Garda Síochána, The Health Service Executive and Kilkenny County Council are each required by the above mentioned regulations to prepare plans to deal with effects off-site and to assist, where relevant, with the emergency response on-site in the event of a major accident at:

Nitrofert Limited, Raheen, New Ross , Co Kilkenny Y34 XH33

A draft copy of the External Emergency Plan can be viewed at the following offices;
• An Garda Síochána, Dominic Street Kilkenny
• HSE, Office of the Chief Officer, South East Community Healthcare, Lacken, Dublin Road, Kilkenny, R95 NV08.
• Kilkenny County Council, John Street, Kilkenny

Dates for viewing are from Monday 22nd November 2021 to 17th December 2021 excluding weekends from 09:30 - 16:30 hours.

Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed external emergency plan can be made up to 16:30 hours on Friday 17th December 2021.
