TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of Kilkenny County Council to close to traffic the following public road to facilitate works being undertaken by Wills Bros Limited, as part of the N24 Tower Road Junction Improvement Scheme, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny.

 

Road to be Closed	Alternative Routes	Proposed Duration of Closure
N24, from its junction with LP1038 at the Ink Bottle, Belline, Piltown to its junction with R698 at Fiddown, Piltown	Eastbound traffic will exit the N24 at Belline (Ink Bottle junction) and travel via LP1038, R698 and re-join the N24 at Fiddown   Westbound traffic will exit the N24 at Fiddown and travel via R698, LP1038 and re-join the N24 at Belline (Ink Bottle junction)	From:  9pm Tuesday, 8th August, 2023 To:      5am Wednesday, 9th August, 2023   From:  9pm Wednesday, 9th August, 2023 To:      5am Thursday, 10th August, 2023   AND   From:  9pm Tuesday, 5th September, 2023 To:      5am Wednesday, 6th September, 2023   From:  9pm Wednesday, 6th September, 2023 To:      5am Thursday, 7th September, 2023

 

Alternative routes will be clearly signposted.

Any person objecting to the proposed temporary closure of this road may lodge their objection in writing to the undersigned not later than 5.00pm on Thursday, 20th July, 2023.
