Extended Deadline for Chairperson Applications for LECP for Kilkenny
Due to a technical issue with our email address, Kilkenny County Council has extended the deadline for submitting Expressions of Interest for the voluntary Chairperson position of the new Local Community Safety Partnership for Kilkenny City and County.
New Deadline: 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2024

About the Role:
Leadership: As Chairperson, you’ll lead the LCSP, ensuring its effectiveness and setting high standards of integrity.
Strategic Direction: Provide leadership and strategic direction, focusing on tailored solutions for community safety.
Community Advocacy: Represent the LCSP to the public, media, and stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work with community members, public services, and local authorities.
Community Safety Matters:
Beyond policing and crime, community safety includes safe spaces for children and visible Gardaí.
LCSP brings services and the community together, replacing Joint Policing Committees.
Local voices matter—we’re stronger together!
Membership:
Residents, community representatives, business leaders, educators, and public services. Maximum of 30 members.
