TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of Kilkenny County Council to close to traffic the following public road within the Piltown Municipal District to facilitate essential track renewal works being undertaken by Irish Rail.

 

Roads to be Closed	Alternative Routes	Proposed Duration of Closure
L7429 –  at Level crossing XL184 Ballincurra, Mooncoin	Via L7429 Arderra, Kilcraggan and L7428 Ballincurra	From: 8pm Thursday 15th January 2026 To:      6am Sunday, 18th January 2026

Alternative routes will be signposted.

Any person objecting to the proposed temporary closure of these roads may lodge their objection in writing to the undersigned not later than 5.00pm on Thursday, 18th December, 2025.
