Municipal District of Callan-Thomastown

Temporary Road Closures Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th May 2026:

Monday 25th May 7am – 7pm:

• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L1022 Rathculbin/Mallardstown (Kells to Callan) will be closed daily to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: R699 Mallardstown(Callan to Dunnamaggin) to its junction with road ref: L5048 Spruceshay (Newtown Castle) to facilitate roadworks.
• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L1014 Castletobin will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: N76 Clashacollare to its junction with road ref: R691 Greatoak to facilitate roadworks.
• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L1018 Tullamaine will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: N76 Tullamaine to its junction with road ref:  L1019 Corbally to facilitate roadworks.

 Tuesday 26th May 7am – 7pm:

• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L5096 Blackbog will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: L5095 Blackbog to its junction with road ref: L1035 Booleyglass to facilitate roadworks.
• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L5092 Carrigatna (near Pallas foods) will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: L5091 Rossenara Demense to its junction with road ref: L5093 Brownstown to facilitate roadworks.
• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L5085 Garranhalloo/Lamoge will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: L5084 Lamoge Cross to its junction with road ref: R698 Windgap Village to facilitate roadworks.

In so far as practical whilst roadworks are in progress local access will be facilitated but is likely to be subject to delays.
