Temporary Road Closures Wednesday 27th – Friday 29th May 2026

Wednesday 27th May 7am – 7pm:

• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L4202 Knockanore will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: R700 Killarney Cross to its junction with road ref: L4202/R713 Stoneyford to facilitate roadworks.
• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L8238 Ruppa will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: L8214 Mungmacody to its junction with road ref: L8239 Rossroe to facilitate roadworks.
• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L8239 Cappagh will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: L8238 Rossroe to its junction with road ref: L8240 Cappagh to facilitate roadworks.

 Thursday 28th May 7am – 7pm: 

• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L2643 Grange Upper will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: R702 Goatsbridge to its junction with road ref: L6724 Grange Upper to facilitate roadworks.
• Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L8220 Griffinstown will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: L8218 Tinnakeenlyto its junction with road ref: L4204 Tincouse to facilitate roadworks.

 Friday 29th May 7am – 7pm:

•  Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: L8217 Aughkiletaun/Skeaghvosteen will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: L6729 Curraglane to its junction with road ref: L8215 Moneen to facilitate roadworks.

 Local diversions shall be in operation and signposted.

In so far as practical whilst roadworks are in progress local access will be facilitated but is likely to be subject to delays.
