Community Event Grant Scheme 2026
The Kilkenny County Council Community Events Grants scheme 2026 is open for applications. This grant scheme will assist community event organisers with the development, promotion and the running of small-scale community events organised by local not-for-profit voluntary groups and organisations. The emphasis of the scheme is on providing funding for community events that encourages local engagement. The events may include intercultural events that recognise and celebrate diversity. The funding is from €100 up to a maximum of €1,000.
To be considered for funding, applicants will be asked to provide details demonstrating the following:
- Community benefit and participation
- Social Inclusion (e.g. Age Friendly, Accessible to All and Youth Participation)
- Promotion of healthy living and cultural awareness
- Group capacity and ability to deliver
