Tidy Towns

The Environmental Section provides community support to active tidy town groups.  It facilitates the Tidy Towns Forum which networks local groups and brings them together to tour different villages and towns both inside and outside the county.  The forum shares information relating to the competition, funding opportunities available to the groups and provides speakers to provide advice and support on different aspects of the tidy towns competition. 

In 2021, there were 25 entrants from County Kilkenny and Kilkenny County Council would like to encourage more community groups into the competition.
