Rates Incentive Grant Scheme 2024

The 2024 “Rates Incentive Grant Scheme” is available to all Rate payers subject to certain terms and conditions. As approved at Kilkenny County Council’s 2024 Budget Meeting, Rate payers can avail of a grant of 5.8% of the value of their 2024 Rates Invoice (excluding arrears) up to a maximum value of €250.

Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions of the 2024 “Rates Incentive Grant Scheme” are as follows. There are two payment options:

Option 1 – Pay in full

Pay your full bill & arrears, plus outstanding Property Entry Levy if any before the end of June 2024 at the latest and deduct 5.8% up to the maximum (€250) from your 2024 Rates Invoice.

Option 2 – Monthly Payment Plan

2.1 Pay your Rates & Arrears plus any outstanding Property Entry Levy, if any, in full in 9 equal consecutive monthly instalments by direct debit from April to December 2024 and deduct 5.8% up to the maximum (€250) from your 2024 rates invoice.

2.2 Pay your Rates & Arrears plus any outstanding Property Entry Levy, if any, by Standing Order or by any other equal consecutive monthly arrangement commencing in March 2024, to be completed by end of November 2024 and deduct 5.8% up to the maximum (€250) from your 2024 rates invoice.
