Applicants must be full-time students (over the age of 18 on 1st June 2026) who are currently undertaking a third level course in Engineering, Business, Computing, Finance, Science, Arts or related disciplines.

Applications are invited from qualified persons for Kilkenny County Council’s Summer Employment Scheme for students between May and September 2026.

Personal Protection Clothing will be supplied. Appropriate Health & Safety training will be given.

Hours: Variable hours, Monday to Saturday between 8.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m.

It may be necessary that the occasional Sunday be worked.

Rate of Pay: €14.15 per hour.

A Panel will be formed from which relevant vacancies may be filled.
