Variation 2 to the Kilkenny County Development Plan 2011

Variation 2 to the Kilkenny County Development Plan 2008-2014, adopted on the 19th September 2011, modified the planning framework and zoning map for Ballyragget.

Ballyragget Local Area Plan 2004

The Ballyragget Local Area Plan expired in 2010, but the plan does contain a significant amount of information on the natural and built heritage and other planning issues. The expired Plan will be used as a supplementary guidance document.

Notice of Adoption of Amendment No. 1 of the Ballyragget Local Area Plan

Notice is hereby given that Kilkenny County Council being the Planning Authority for the County of Kilkenny has adopted Amendment No. 1 of the Ballyragget Local Area Plan.

Copies of Amendment No. 1 of the Ballyragget Local Area Plan are available at the following locations:-

Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny during the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. (including lunchtime)

Castlecomer Area Office Mon Fri 9am 5pm (Closed 1pm 2pm)

Amendment No. 1 of the Ballyragget Local Area Plan

 

For the purposes of Amendment No. 1 of the Ballyragget Local Area Plan the following amendments were adopted:

The rezoning of lands of 0.08 Hectares (0.2 acres) at Station Road, Ballyragget from Open Space/Amenity/Recreation use to residential use.
