Kilmacow Masterplan
Update March 2025
Kilkenny County Council adopted a Masterplan for Kilmacow in November 2024 at the Piltown Municipal District Meeting. The purpose of the Masterplan is to guide the development of Kilmacow into the future and to influence and deliver on real change for the town in order to make it a more attractive destination in which to live, work, visit and do business.

Kilkenny County Council have engaged Turley planning consultants to create masterplans for Ballyragget, Kilmacow and Paulstown, providing a blueprint to ensure they can remain as thriving settlements long into the future.
The Draft Kilmacow Masterplan will be on public display, from the 12th July until the 30th August 2024, on the Council's consultative portal, as follows:
As part of this, a drop-in public information evening will be held in Kilmacow Community Hall on Wednesday 7th August, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm.

Stakeholder events 2023
As part of this work, we want to hear your views on what you think makes these areas a good place to live and what would make it better. The results of these questions will directly inform the first phase of our work to develop these new masterplans. Details are below:
