Temporary Road Closure M9 Southbound March/ April 2026

Temporary Road Closure M9 Southbound Monday 23rd March to Friday 27th March, Monday 13th April to Friday 17th April and Monday 27th April to Friday 1st May 2026.

Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road M9 Southbound will be closed to vehicular traffic from Junction 7 (Paulstown) to Junction 8 (Kilkenny North) on Monday 23rd March to Friday 27th March, Monday 13th April to Friday 17th April and Monday 27th April to Friday 1st May 2026 to facilitate roadworks. M9 Southbound closures to commence at 20:00 p.m. and re-open at 06:00 a.m. approximately.

Local diversions shall be in operation and signposted.

In so far as practical whilst roadworks are in progress local access will be facilitated but is likely to be subject to delays.
