On-Street Parking

On-Street Parking charges came into force in Kilkenny in March 2009.

Kilkenny County Council operate a Pay & Display Disc Parking system for payment of on-street parking. Vehicles parked in a Disc Parking area (as indicated by on street parking signs and information plates) will be required to display a valid parking disc. These discs can be purchased from the Pay & Display machine in the area. The Parking limit in each area will be detailed by the normal parking sign - the letter 'P' in a circle and an information plate showing the time allocated in the area.
