Notice of Extension Ferrybank Local Area Plan 2009-2020

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 19(1)(f) of the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2013, that Kilkenny County Council has resolved to extend the life of the Ferrybank, Local Area Plan to the 14th March 2020. The resolution was made on the 10th February 2014.

A copy of the Resolution and the Local Area Plan is available for inspection at the Planning Department, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Notice of Adoption of Ferrybank/Belview Local Area Plan

Kilkenny County Council adopted the Local Area Plan for Ferrybank/Belview at a meeting of the County Council on the 16th March, 2009.

The Local Area Plan and its accompanying Strategic Environmental Assessment Statement are available on this website below. They are also available for inspection at the Planning Department at County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny between the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Copies of the LAP are available for purchase through the Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council at a cost of €40 for a hard copy of the LAP and €10 for the SEA Statement.

Notice of Proposed Amendments

Kilkenny County Council are in the process of making a Local Area Plan for Ferrybank/Belview and propose to make a number of variations/modifications to the previously published Draft Plan.
The proposed amendments may be inspected from Friday 19th December to Friday 23rd January 2009 (both dates inclusive but excluding Public Holidays) at the following locations:

Information Evening for Ferrybank-Belview (formerly Waterford City Environs) draft Local Area Plan

Kilkenny County Council are holding an 'Information Evening' on the draft Local Area Plan for the Ferrybank-Belview area.

The purpose of the Information Evening is to provide an opportunity for the public to view the draft Plan and speak with a member of the planning team in advance of making submissions on the plan.
