Notice of Proposed Development by a Local Authority
Erection of 'Historic Towns' Signage in Inistioge Village
In accordance with Section 179 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act 2000 -2007, and Part 8 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 2001, Kilkenny County Council hereby give notice of their intention to carry out the following developments:
Erection of signage including interpretation/information panels, plaques and finger posts for the purposes of providing information on the history of buildings and monuments in Inistioge Village. Signage will be located at key points around the village centre.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection during office hours at the offices of Kilkenny County Council (Customer Services Desk), County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny and at Kilkenny County Council offices, Thomastown Area Office, Kilkenny Road, Thomastown, Kilkenny from Friday the 3rd of July to Friday the 31st of July between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated may be made in writing to the undersigned, not later than 5pm on Friday the 13th of August, 2009.
